STERLING SILVER AND GOLD
Sterling silver becomes discoloured over time and should be polished regularly with a soft, natural cleaning cloth. You can also clean silver and gold jewellery by hand with a soft tootbrush and a bit of soap.
Silver and gold jewellery that is used regularly typically needs less care, so we encourage you to use and enjoy your jewellery every day.
To ensure a long life for your horn jewellery you should avoid prolonged exposure to water or chemicals. It is a good idea to take off the jewellery when washing hands or cleaning.
To clean your jewellery, you can dip the piece in cold or lukewarm water and/or use a soft toothbrush to remove any dirt. Dry the horn directly afterwards and never use hot water for horn.
Avoid leaving horn items in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
To protect the horn, you can apply a small amount of neautral oil (e.g. olive oil or rapseed oil) once in a while to prevent the horn from drying out. Horn jewellery that is used regularly typically gets the oils from your skin, which also protects it from drying out.
STORAGE & USE
To ensure that your jewellery or object holds well, it is important that they are cared for and gently stored.
