In Denmark, there is a long tradition of working with horn, a material dating back to the Viking Age. Today, horn is largely a by-product of meat production and is often discarded or burned. My jewellery focuses on recognising the value and beauty in these overlooked materials.
I collected plants and grasses, whose shapes became the foundation for the development of my own technique: the horn is heat-bent to encapsulate the gold or silver wire. This joins the materials without glue, allowing both to remain part of a circular life cycle.
My horn jewellery has been awarded by the Danish Art Foundation. Each piece of horn has its own unique colour, making every brooch individually crafted and one of a kind.

The horn I use is a by-product of meat production, sourced from healthy livestock. It comes exclusively from approved farmers and never from endangered species or diseased animals.
