Two shapes, side by side: a square and a circle. One is computer-drawn and 3D-printed; the other is forged by hand. Opposites meet.
Though different, the two forms can fit together. The circle often represents the spiritual world—flow and the feminine—an endless shape without beginning or end. The square symbolizes the physical world—the masculine and the earth—with its four seasons, four corners, and four elements: soil, air, fire, and water.
These opposites can inform one another. Consider how we calculate pi, drawing on both the circle and the square. Together, they become a symbol of balance and unity.
Each ring is bespoke – drawn and made in size by hand. If you wish to make this ring in two different gold alloys, you are welcome to contact me.
